Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo, one of the successful Indonesian artist who earned an MFA from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London, back in 2005.
He dedicated to painting, pushing through any boundries with such an innovative techniques. His true passion came from comic books, science fiction and Japanese manga, which inspired him to pour everything into fine arts and paintings.
Some of his famed solo exhibitions are include the After Taste, Sullivan+Strumpf, Sydney, Australia (2017) and Karat, Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, Bandung, Indonesia (2015).
He also joined in some group exhibitions, such as Asian International Art Exhibition, Ayala Museum, Manila (2005); and Marcel Duchamp in Southeast Asia, Equator Art Projects, Gillman Barracks, Singapore (2012).
Recently, his ‘Argo’ works also flew to London and exhibited at the Simon Lee Gallery. He also gained an international acclaim as one of the 22 artists chosen for Guggenheim Museum’s ‘No Country: Contemporary Art for South and Southeast Asia’.
