Louis Vuitton is pleased to announce its continued collaboration with (RED), the organization founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 to fight AIDS, and will be launching their collaborative product, the LV x (RED) Trainers, today, December 1st, 2020, which is the day that has been declared as World AIDS Day. Louis Vuitton has been proudly supporting (RED)’s actions with the creation of a Louis Vuitton I (RED) Trainer and for each LV Trainer sold, USD $200 will be donated to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in support of (RED).

The trainers were first presented during Men’s Artistic Director Virgil Abloh’s debut Spring-Summer 2019 show for Louis Vuitton and have since become a staple menswear sneaker. The Louis Vuitton I (RED) Trainer features an embossed Monogram, embedded across the sole of the low-top sneaker, on white leather and bright red piping and details. This new version of the staple menswear sneakers was made in Italy, embellished with Louis Vuitton House codes and also strongly incorporating (RED)’s signatures and powerful messaging.
