The long-awaited MC20 by Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer, Maserati, has been finally unveiled. Maserati was showing off its first supercar in 15 years which was developed by the Maserati Innovation Lab over the past two years.

We are setting the cornerstone for building the future of Maserati,” said Davide Grasso, Maserati’s COO, during an event revealing the new model in Modena, Italy. He added, “The MC20 is the embodiment of our values, the first of its kind 100% made in Modena. MC20 is the model that starts our new era.”

The MC20 combines performance, sporty, and prestigious into one Italian distinctive construction signature. The interior included a new Nettuno – the first engine under the new Trident regime that consists of a V6 twin-turbo with the new 621 horsepower and delivers 0-100kmh/h acceleration in under 2,9″ and a top speed over 325 km an hour.

MC20 was designed in Modena and will be built at the site where the marque’s models have been born for 80 years. A new production line has been created at Viale Ciro Menotti, in the area where the GranTurismo and GranCabrio cars were assembled.

Launched in the MMXX: Time to be Audacious, Maserati also teases upcoming luxury vehicles by the likes the Ghibli Hybrid and its new Trofeo Collection.
