Ageless Galaxy (AGLXY) is a Jakarta-based lifestyle brand inspired by the mentality of outer space exploration. Their ultimate goal is to infuse value in everything they do in order to make a mark in this never-ending galaxy.
AGLXY started this new year off right with a capsule collection in collaboration with Jeff Staple, a creative visionary based in New York City. He is the founder and head of Reed Art Department (formerly known as Staple Design), a creative consulting firm and a lifestyle brand, that has been paving the way for streetwear brands and designers alike since 1997. The two brands got together and produced a capsule collection in hopes to inspire creative mindsets and spread a positive social contagion.
The collection consists of 3 t-shirts, 1 long-sleeved shirt, and accessories, illustrated with Jeff Staple’s well-known apprehension of the iconic pigeons of New York, and embedded with AGLXY’s signature “since ∞” slogan. The Bubble GraffTee displays Staple’s ethos ‘A Positive Social Contagion’ in bubble graffiti on the back and silhouettes of pigeons flying around it. Another piece strongly reflecting the New York City vibe that you see in a lot of NY located films is the Jeff the Pigeon t-shirt which comprises of an illustrated interpretation of Jeff Staple as a New York pigeon, with a pigeon head on the front chest and a full-body version of the character on the back.
The Ageless Galaxy x Staple Collection will be released worldwide on January 16, 2021. The collection will be available both online at www.aglxy.com and www.staplepigeon.com and in-store at Ageless Galaxy and Staple, as well as selected retailers.
