BLVCK EDITIONS is collaborating with 17 young talents of Indonesia, with their various characters to launch a limited capsule collection series as a campaign of peaceful movement for Indonesia, dubbed ‘17/08 – The Triumphant of Indonesia’. Getting a full support from KILO Lounge, the limited capsule collection will be shown on July 17, 2019 at the 17/08 Launching Event.

The 17 figures who designed the collection are include; Adinia Wirasti, Adityalogy, Ajeng Svastiari, Andy Yanata, Ayla Dimitri, Danjyo Hiyoji, Dion Wiyoko, Han Chandra, Kleting, Muklay, Muhammad Aga, Nicoline Patricia, Patrick Owen, Raiki Pasya, Tarra Budiman, Wilsen Willim dan Yuda Bustara.

The campaign also collaborating with Garda Satwa Foundation and Yayasan Tunas Cendekia as donation recipients from profits of 17/08 product sales. These two foundations have a strong commitment to promote social movement, so that Indonesian society will have an awareness to surroundings.

The program departed from Indonesia’s slogan, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, which focuses on unity and tolerance between the variety of physical appearance, ethnic, culture, religion, social and other differences. By collaborating with 17 different characters and figures, BLVCK EDITIONS would like to show that a sense of unity can also be lifted through arts and voices of young talents to form a positive perspective for Indonesia.

The movement is also expected to bring a new perspective for society that differences in Indonesia need not to be a problem. Through creative campaigns poured in garments, this can be a new way to show a sense of nationalism.
